We are currently seeking a Lead Consultant to join the team on a exciting and challenging client engagement.
Specific Characteristics for a Lead Consultant
A Lead Consultant has an impact across the business and is a leader in the Consulting Practice. A Lead Consultant is capable of leading large engagements through shaping, execution and conclusion being a creator of ideas and engaging clients and team members in the delivery and improvement of Emergn’s products and services.
What you will do:
- Lead change that provides valuable outcomes for the client and people within their company, forever, in an engagement with complex systems of work and environment.
- Is accountable for the success of the Emergn consulting solutions in mid to large sized complex clients.
- Ensures we delight our customers and retain integrity of our solutions by managing change solutions assurance services on an engagement.
- Solves the complex problems we face in an engagement in conjunction with the Emergn team.
- Establishes the Emergn team as trusted partners within the customer organization to ensure the successful implementation of solutions and change.
- Ensures continuous improvement of Emergn’s body of knowledge, value propositions, products & services and working practices.
- Is a leader within Emergn’s consulting practice – contributing to the development of consulting capability.
- Manage the Solutions assurance, capture the measure’s check with the Engagement assurance team, lead the agreed actions (Stop, Pivot Continue) for one Engagement.
- Generate the feedback on the success validated by measures from the experiments to close the engagement.
- Create the client example as an output for packaging of the value proposition.
- Harvest the content applied within the engagement for the knowledge base as appropriate. Feedback on the application of value propositions deployed in the engagement.
This job might be for you if:
- Expertise in management consulting/professional services or in senior positions in an enterprise organization.
- Expertise in agile and/or lean product development including the value and principles, and how they are applied in enterprise environments.
- Experienced in being part of an implementation team and or product transformations, dealing with complexity.
- Experience in one or more agile methodologies and practices (Lean, Kanban, XP, TDD, CI), and how they can be applied in a product development/program delivery environment.
- Understands how to implement the models that solve the challenges with Portfolio or Product Management and Agile Enablement, including the structure of work, organizational design, and skills and knowledge.
- Strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Experience in client relationship/client-facing roles, with strong team building, coaching and mentoring skills.
- Highly skilled in large-scale enterprise change projects & programs.
- Ability to shape strong presentations and narratives that influence and commit people to change.
- Establish and maintain a discovery mindset, continuously learning and applying the latest thinking.
